Dear Parents
We need your help!! We have managed to find a potential home for the Kids Arts Academy and have applied for planning permission which can be seen on the Sheffield Council website here. The property is an old coach house on Stretton Road, S11 8RP and would be perfect for us to run some of our after-school club art classes during term time and some of our holiday activities for small groups.

If you would like to support us please comment on our application by visiting the Sheffield Council Planning Portal Website here where you can read our application in full and comment on whether you think we would be of benefit to the local community. We would be so incredibly grateful for any support you could give us. The deadline for public comments is 9th May.
There have been some objections already and so any support would be massivley appreciated.
What we want to achieve:
After 12 years of running our activities from lots of different venues in Sheffield and Derbyshire we would so love to have a home for the Kids Arts Academy where we can run some of our classes for children throughout the year without being dependent on availability of school halls and church halls.
The Old Coach House would provide us with the opportunity to have a base where we can run some of our classes and have all our creative materials in one place! It would be heavenly!!
We always aim to create a friendly, calm, and creative environment that provides creative opportunities and positive experiences for the children who attend our activities, to have a base like this would give us the chance to really plan ahead with the certainty that we have somewhere to run our activities from and do some amazing creative work with the children.

We are incredibly grateful for all the support we have received over the last year from families who have contacted us, it has been a real struggle for us to get our activities started again as a lot of venues are not able to open for obvious Covid-19 related reasons. We are very much looking forward to May half term holiday club at the Banner Cross Methodist Church Hall and seeing lots of you again then.
