Dear Parents
We hope you have had a safe and peaceful Christmas break. We have been putting together the timetable for the after-school clubs for 2021 and they can now be downloaded here KAA Spring 2021 after school
The activity timetable is planned through until the summer holidays as you can see from the attached info.
Online classes:
We will be sending out another timetable for the online classes,which will be resuming this week, in the next 24 hours.Online art classes will be running on Monday and cooking classes will be running on Thursday, watch this space for more info.
After school club themes at Lydgate Junior School and Botanical Road:
In art we will be learning to develop drawing skills and focusing on learning to draw people and using perspective, also taking inspiration from famous artists Warhol, Hiroshige, Klee, Seurat, Rizzi and Van Gogh.
In animation our themes will be: The enchanted castle, mythical creatures, an adventure in space and goblins versus faeries.
Availability for after school clubs:
We are planning to run after school activities from Lydgate Junior School and Botanical Road scout Hut for now, and will restart our Dore and Dobcroft after school clubs asap.
We do have a waiting list at both after school clubs at Lydgate and Botanical Road, and we are still limited to 15 places per club, to keep in line with the safety measures for groups sizes whilst operating during Covid-19. Places, as always, will be on a first come first served basis.
Online bookings:
Bookings will be open online tomorrow afternoon; we will send out another news post confirming online bookings are open and running dates. If you have any queries, please feel free to get in touch with Hannah by email: hannah@kidsartsacademy.co.uk
Payments
As it has been a financially strenuous time for most people, we will be taking bookingsand payments by the half term until Easter, when we will return to our usual booking and payment for the full term in advance for the summer term.
For the timebeing unfortunately we can only accept payment by card. We will hopefully be abe to accept payment by childcare vouchers again after the spring term.
