Summer is here! And so are we!
We began our first week of holiday clubs on Monday at Sheffield High School and we’re having loads of fun! We’ve got so many fantastic art, cooking, animation and Fimo modelling activities planned for the kids to enjoy over the summer, you can check out the full timetable by clicking here, but here are a few of our personal favourites to give you a taste of what to expect!
In cooking, we’ll be making a lot of delicious recipes for the kids to take home and enjoy, here are a few; amazing mozzarella pasta, saucy chocolate pudding, Mediterranean vegetable and halloumi kebabs, hot fudge chocolate pudding, stuffed crusts pizza and more.
In art, we’ll be drawing, crafting and creating super fun activities, here are just a couple; design and print a baseball cap, learn to draw a Willy Wonka inspired chocolate factory, design and print a t-shirt, design & decorate a wooden
bird feeder, decorate and paint a kaleidoscope and a lot more!
Fimo modelling is our latest addition to our holiday clubs, in this activity, the kids will learn to create their own Fimo model of whatever theme is on for the day of the activity, for example, a dragon model or a curled up cat!
Last but certainly not least, we’ve got fantastic themes for animation; ‘Trip to Mars!’, ‘First day at monster school’, ‘A time travelling adventure’ and more themes for the kids to have fun creating!
We’ll be running at Sheffield High School for the rest of this week and the next until Friday 26/07 and then moving to Tapton Secondary School for the week commencing Monday 29/07 for the rest of the holidays (we will be running at Hallam Community Hall on the final day of the holiday club, 30/08).
You can book your place now by clicking here. We hope to see you soon!
Best wishes,
The Kids Arts Academy team
