You can also book online here! Read on for s brief overview of just SOME of the creative activities we will be enjoying 🙂
Art Activities:
We will be running our craft and 3D activities every morning, and focused drawing and painting activities each afternoon. All materials are provided.
We have based the activities around the following themes:
Week 1: A deep sea quest – Octopus clay pots, dolphin block printing, mobile making as well as drawing and painting creatures from the deep, scuba divers and loads more.
Week 2: Amazing animals – leaping lions, Fimo modelling peacock spiders, learning to draw and paint tree frogs, printing tiger tote bags + loads more!
Week 3: Back in time- Egyptians, Vikings, dinosaurs ….and, of course, a time travelling portal.
Week 4: Mythical Creatures – clay unicorns, pop-up Yetis, trolls, dragons and pixies..
Week 5: Space and beyond – spaceships, solar systems, rockets and an alien family portrait!
Week 6: Inspired by books and films- Harry Potter, The Lion the witch and the wardrobe, Roald Dahl’s ‘The Twits’, and Dr Seuss will be sources of inspiration for the last week of activities.
Cooking Activities:
We will be running our Double Pud Days on Monday and Friday every week. On all other days we will be making pastas, pizzas and breads in the mornings and cakes and puds in the afternoons.
All ingredients provided – please ensure you give us full info. if your child has special dietary requirements.
Animation Activities:
We are running a 2-day animation course each week, excluding week 6.
This activity group is suitable for 6-14 yr. olds, and will run from King Edward VII Lower school, 9.30AM-4PM.
The themes are:
Week1: A deep sea quest.
Week 2: A rumble in the jungle.
Week 3: Land of the dinosaurs.
Week 4: The troll’s tea party
Week 5: Lost in space.
